Welcome to Modern Greeting, an Alpha Tag company (“Modern Greeting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and video gift tag services (collectively, the “Services”).

By purchasing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1) Use of Our Services

You may use Modern Greeting’s Services only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Misuse the Services, including uploading harmful or illegal content.

Interfere with the operation or security of our systems.

Use our platform to violate the rights of others (e.g., copyright, privacy, or publicity).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to anyone violating these Terms.

2) Account & Purchases

You do not need an account to browse our site, but you may be required to provide accurate personal and payment information to complete purchases.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information for all orders placed through our website.

3) Video Gift Tags & Content

When you upload or record content for a video gift tag:

You retain ownership of your video and message content.

You grant Modern Greeting a limited license to host, store, and display your video solely for the purpose of providing the video tag experience.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on others’ rights.

We may remove or restrict access to any uploaded content that violates our policies or legal requirements.

4) Data Retention & Download Policy

Modern Greeting stores video gift tag data for 1 year from the date the tag is created.

After that one-year period, the data will be retained for an additional 3 months (“Grace Period”).

During the Grace Period, if the recipient or sender accesses the tag link, they will be able to download the video to their phone for free.

After the Grace Period expires, the video and related data will be permanently deleted from our systems and will no longer be recoverable.

We recommend downloading your video during that time if you wish to keep a copy.

5) Intellectual Property

All content on our site (including text, designs, code, and branding) is owned by Modern Greeting or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without prior written consent.

6) Pricing, Payments, and Refunds

All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted. Payments are processed securely through third-party providers.

If you experience an issue with your order, please contact support@alphatag.com. Refunds or replacements are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7) Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use personal data.

8) Service Availability

We strive to provide uninterrupted service but cannot guarantee that our site or video playback will always be available or error-free. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may cause temporary interruptions.

9) Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Modern Greeting and Alpha Tag, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services or inability to access them, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Modern Greeting, Alpha Tag, Inc., and their affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
